Privacy Policy
How Hormone Balance Centers collects, uses and protects information when you visit this website or contact us. Last updated October 12, 2026.
Who we are
Hormone Balance Centers (“HBC”, “we”, “us”) provides telehealth hormone care to eligible adult patients in Utah and Idaho. This policy covers this website, hormonebalancecenters.com, and the calls and text messages you send us. It does not replace the Notice of Privacy Practices that applies to your medical records once you become a patient (see “Health information” below).
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you call, text or otherwise contact us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address and the reason you are reaching out.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: pages viewed, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and clicks on our call and text buttons. We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, to do this.
- Information from the patient portal. The patient portal is operated by a separate provider on our behalf. Information you enter there is handled under that service’s terms and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and schedule appointments.
- To provide, coordinate and follow up on care if you become a patient.
- To send appointment reminders and service messages you have asked for.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, regulatory and security obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you text us or ask us to text you, we will use your number to reply and to send messages related to your care or your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Please do not send detailed medical information by text; we will move sensitive conversations to a secure channel.
Health information
Once you become a patient, information about your health and care is protected health information under HIPAA. How we use and disclose it, and your rights over it, are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide to patients and which you can request at any time by calling or texting 385-361-8549.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run the practice and this website, such as hosting, analytics, communications, scheduling, laboratory and pharmacy partners. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our patients, staff or others.
- Business changes, such as a merger or sale, subject to the same protections described here.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies help us understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The site works without analytics cookies.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive medical details through unsecured channels such as regular email or text.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer where the law requires us to keep medical and business records.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Patients have additional rights over their health records, described in the Notice of Privacy Practices. To make a request, call or text 385-361-8549.
Children
Our services are for adults. This website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

This website may link to other sites, such as our patient portal, pharmacy partners or educational resources. Their privacy practices are their own.
