Telehealth service area, not a walk-in HBC office. HBC offers appointments to eligible patients in Utah and Idaho. Confirm availability for your location and needs before arranging care.
For American Fork residents, starting hormone care does not have to begin with a trip to a distant clinic. Hormone Balance Centers offers a telehealth route for discussing your concerns, reviewing your history and deciding what information is needed next. A laboratory visit, when ordered, is a separate step from the video appointment.
Start with a question, not a treatment commitment
Call or text HBC with a brief description of what you would like help with and whether you already have a testosterone prescription. The team can explain the appointment process and what records to prepare. Use the secure patient process the team provides for medical records; an initial scheduling text does not need your full medical history.
Men can explore men’s hormone care and women can read about women’s hormone evaluations. These are different care pathways. The TRT prices below should not be treated as a quote for every hormone service.
Local laboratory information in American Fork
Intermountain Health lists laboratory services at American Fork Hospital. Its official page provides current contact details, preparation information and access to its patient results portal. Consult the American Fork Hospital laboratory page rather than relying on an old directory listing.
This is independent laboratory information, not an HBC office or a confirmed HBC laboratory partnership. Ask HBC and the laboratory to confirm acceptance of the specific order, test availability, fees and how results will reach your provider before visiting.
Before a draw, confirm that the order is in the laboratory’s system and that HBC will receive the complete report. Having results visible in a hospital portal does not by itself establish that a separate provider has received them. Ask which timing or preparation instructions apply to your particular tests.
What should I budget for TRT care?
HBC currently lists $750 for the first year of medical care for patients new to prescription testosterone and $400 per year for eligible patients transferring existing prescribed care. Medication is separate. Ask about laboratory and other charges before committing, and consult the current TRT pricing breakdown for the pharmacy distinction.
American Fork appointment questions
Is the hospital laboratory an HBC location?
No. It is an independent local resource. This page describes telehealth access for American Fork residents and does not advertise a staffed HBC office at the hospital.
Can I use bloodwork I already have?
Ask the HBC team how to send the report for review. Include the testing date and the full report rather than just one number. Your provider will decide whether it answers the relevant questions or whether additional testing is needed.
What happens after the first conversation?
The next step may be an appointment, a request for records or clarification of testing arrangements. Ask for a clear plan for receiving results and scheduling follow-up, rather than assuming a blood draw automatically starts treatment.
Evaluation comes before treatment. A consultation does not guarantee a diagnosis, a testosterone prescription or a particular treatment. For clinical background, see our testosterone replacement therapy guide and the HBC care team.
Talk with HBC about your next step
Call or text with your city and whether you are new to hormone care or considering a transfer. We can explain scheduling and the secure process for sharing records.
